Join a MAPS team as a first-tier subcontractor
A first-tier subcontractor sits on the SBTA under the MAPS prime. You do not have to hold ISO 9001. Your qualifying projects can count toward the team score when the prime uses them under Section L.2.3.2.5. You still have to meet every rule that applies to each team member.
How to join an SBTA for Army MAPS
Run your self-score first so you know which qualifying projects you can bring. Shaavir matches you with a high-scoring MAPS prime that is already bidding. The team completes Attachments 0005 and 0006 before it submits. Check your self-score first →
What a teaming partner adds to your MAPS score
Company certifications stay with the company that holds them. A teaming partner adds qualifying-project points: relevance to the MAPS domain, dollar value, CPARS on that work, and the passthrough rate. Each qualifying project is worth up to 36,500 points, and a team can submit up to three. Certifications cannot be borrowed from a partner.
MAPS primes looking for subcontractors — what they need from you
A MAPS prime needs a first-tier subcontractor who is a small business, holds an active SECRET facility clearance, and has CMMC Level 2 (self). Your CPARS record has to pass the same check as the prime's. Bring qualifying projects that fit the domain you are bidding.

ISO 9001 is the prime-only gate. The rest of the screening rules apply to every member of the SBTA. Attachments 0005 and 0006 must be complete for the team.
